Understanding Groups and Group Members
Groups are an important piece of the Cash flow workbench. You create groups to define granularity in your prediction dataset. Once you assign group members, the AI uses last 52 weeks of transaction data to predict inflows and outflow for the next 13-weeks
Groups can contain:
- GL Accounts
- Suppliers
- Combination of GL Accounts and Suppliers
Examples:
|
Group Name |
Members |
|
Payroll |
Payroll GL Accounts |
|
Marketing |
Marketing GL Accounts and Marketing Vendors |
|
Professional Services |
Consulting Suppliers |
|
Customer Collections |
AR-related Accounts |
Once created, group values are aggregated and displayed.
Default Groups
Default groups like Others-Operating, Others-Financing and Others-Investing are present that contain all the predictions and actuals data (Show GL posting mode) that do not meet any conditions for existing groups.
