Monitor Payables Performance with KPIs in Centime

Learn how to track and analyze your business’s accounts payable health in Centime using key performance indicators (KPIs). Understand category selection, performance metrics, time period comparison, and supplier-level insights.

Selecting KPI Category

To begin monitoring payables, users can choose the performance category from the Monitor KPIs dropdown menu.

Payables KPIs Overview

Centime tracks accounts payable performance using the following KPIs:

  • Days Payables Outstanding – Measures the average time it takes to pay invoices.

  • Turnover Ratio – Indicates how many times a company pays off its accounts payable in a given period.

  • % Paid Early – Represents the proportion of invoices paid before their due date.

  • % Paid Late – Represents the proportion of invoices paid after their due date.

Users can compare two time periods and choose to analyze performance by any month, quarter, or year.

Comparing Time Period Details

To get more detailed insights for a specific time period, simply click on the corresponding row in the table. This action updates the data shown below.

There are two ways to view this information:

  • 📆 Payables by Time – Analyze payables performance trends across your selected period

  • 🧾 Payables by Supplier – View performance metrics broken down by individual suppliers

Payables by Time

At a summary level, you'll see key metrics such as:

  • 💰 Payments due

  • ⏳ Paid early

  • 📅 Paid on due date

  • 🕒 Paid late

  • ❌ Unpaid

  • 🧑‍💼 Supplier count

  • 🧾 Invoice count

A bar graph below provides a visual breakdown of payments made early, on time, or late for easier trend analysis. This data can be viewed by months or quarters, depending on the length of time selected.

Users may also switch views to analyze payables per supplier for deeper insight into vendor-specific performance trends.

Each supplier's data includes:

  • 🧾 Invoice count

  • 💰 Payments due

  • ⏳ Paid early

  • 📅 Paid on due date

  • 🕒 Paid late

  • ❌ Unpaid

  • 📃 Terms

  • ⌛ Days to pay

You can click on the invoice number to view the individual invoices associated with that supplier.
