How to invite users to your Customer Portal

Intro to the Customer Portal

The Invite to Portal feature allows you to send portal invitations to your customers, granting them access to a secure online platform to view unpaid and paid invoices. The Customer Portal provides transparency and convenience, consolidating all invoice-related information in one accessible location.

Whether or not you have activated CentimePay you can use the Customer portal. The Customer Portal provides your customers with a complete view of outstanding and paid invoices. 

Create the template 

  • Manage email template for the customer portal invitation in General Settings -> Default email templates -> Customer portal invitation

Invite customers 

  • Invitations: Invitations will be sent to all customer contacts with roles marked as Communication Contacts. This ensures that the right individuals within the customer's organization are notified and given access.

  • If you use hierarchies or projects, only customers marked as Bill to will be available to invite to the Portal.
