Inviting Customers to the Portal in Centime
Learn how to set up and invite customers to Centime’s Customer Portal to provide secure, transparent access to unpaid and paid invoices.

The Customer Portal provides your customers with secure, real-time access to view both unpaid and paid invoices — all in one place.

Customers can access the portal whether or not you have activated CentimePay.

The portal offers full visibility into outstanding balances, historical payments, and invoice details, promoting transparency and self-service.
🛠️ Set Up the Customer Portal Invitation Template
Before inviting customers:

Navigate to Settings > Receivables > General Settings > Default Email Templates.

Edit or create your Customer Email template.
This ensures your invitation messaging is customized and branded appropriately.
✉️ Inviting Customers to the Portal

Navigation: Manage Receivables > Customers tab > Click on the Customer Email action and then select the customers you want to send this email to.
- You will have the option to edit this email before sending.

Invitations are sent automatically to all customer contacts marked as Communication Contacts.
📌 Important:
If you use Hierarchies or Projects, only customers designated as Bill To will be eligible to receive portal invitations.
