How to Create and Manage Table Views
Create, share and manage table views to streamline access to essential data and facilitate specific activities.
Saved table view types in Centime
There are three types of saved table views available for users:
- Centime Views: Pre-configured views created by Centime for general use.
- Shared Views: Visible to all users with access to the table.
- Personal Views: Visible only to the creator.
Adding information to the table
Centime's tables are very powerful and flexible. There is a lot of information available in the table for you to customize.
- Navigate to the tab (in AR: Customers, Unpaid Invoices, Paid Invoices) where you want to customize the view. Hover over the header until you see the hamburger menu.
- Hover over the table header to reveal the three dots, this opens the table menu. Click on the three dots.

- Select columns:
- Add columns to the table by selecting them in the column drop-down.
- Remove columns from the table view that are not relevant.
Organize, sort and filter view.
- Organize:
- Column widths: You can expand the width of each column by hovering over the column until brackets show. Once you see the brackets you can adjust the width.
- Order: Reorder the sequence of your columns by hovering over the table header until the hand appears. Click and drag columns until you have the desired order.
- Sort:
- Capability: The table can be sorted by multiple values. You can tell a column is sorted by that value because it will be a darker shade. The first value will take priority.
- How to use it: Click on a column to sort, click again to sort in the opposite order, click a third time to unsort by this value.
Create a saved view
After you have customized the date and layout of your view, save it for future use. Hover over the table header to reveal the table menu and click on the the three dots.
- Personal: Only you can see the view.
- Shared: All users with module access can see the view.
Select views: You can create as many views as required and access them from the table menu.
Manage Saved Views
Only the creator of a view can edit or modify it. Once modified, the updated view is visible to all users if it is a Shared view.
- Edit: By selecting Edit View in the table menu you can change the view name.
- Modify configuration: If you make changes to the columns, width or filters, save the simply save the view in the table menu.
- Delete a view: Only the creator has the authority to delete a created view. Deleting a Shared view will remove it from all users' access.
Viewer Scenarios
- Centime places users in the last view they worked in when they return to Centime.
