How to activate payment methods in Centime
Activate Check, ACH, CentimeCredit and CentimePay
Prerequisites
Before activating a payment method, ensure the following:

Verify Company Information
Navigate to Settings > Company Profile > Company Information to verify your company details. -
Add a Controlling Officer & Authorized Signatory
Navigate to Settings > Company Profile > Ownership and Control and identify at least one individual as both a Controlling Officer and an Authorized Signatory. -
Connect Your Financial Institutions
Navigate to Settings > Financial Institutions and add the appropriate financial accounts.
Activate Payment Methods
To activate payment methods, visit the 'Payment and Credit Solutions' page by clicking on the Centime Products icon in the application header.
Check Payments
- How to Activate: Open the check payments section and register the bank accounts you intend to use for check payments.
- Prerequisites: Ensure that the bank accounts for check payments are already connected. To do this, go to Settings > Financial Institutions and connect the relevant accounts.
ACH Payments
- How to Activate: Click "Apply" to request ACH activation.
- Prerequisites:
- Bank accounts for ACH payments must be connected. To connect, go to Settings > Financial Institutions.
- Ownership and control information must be provided before applying, as required by federal law.
Credit Card Payments
- How to Activate: Open the credit card payments section and register the accounts you’ll use for credit card transactions.
- Prerequisites: Ensure the credit accounts for credit card payments are connected via Settings > Financial Institutions.
CentimeCredit
- How to Apply: Click "Apply" to submit your application.
- Process: Centime and FNBO will process your credit application through a credit underwriting process.
- Prerequisites:
- The bank account for clearing your statement balance should be connected. Go to Settings > Financial Institutions to connect the account.
- Ownership and control information must be provided.
- Note: Access to Centime’s line of credit is subject to credit underwriting and the applicant's creditworthiness.
CentimePay
- How to Apply: Click "Apply" to activate your merchant account for receiving electronic payments.
- Process: Centime and Adyen will process your application.
- Prerequisites:
- Connect the bank account for payouts, i.e., where payments from customers will be deposited. Use Settings > Financial Institutions to add your account.
- Ownership and control information must be provided.
- Note: Access to CentimePay’s merchant account depends on compliance and reputational checks.
